Math and Living Books

Some years ago Leslie Payne of Heart and Mind (now mater et magistra) wrote an excellent article on creating a love for mathematics, on getting beyond the "I hate math" and "math is my worst subject" phobia. I found it on the Internet recently and I strongly suggest giving it a read: Poetic Math.

If you get the wonderful Emmanuel Books catalog, you will notice that they have a section dedicated to Poetic Math inspired by this article.
